The currency number format applies only if the data in cell Excel2010 is a currency number, and the specified currency symbol is added to the cells set to the currency number format. The steps for setting the currency number format in Excel2010 are described below:
Step 1th, open the Excel2010 workbook window and select the cells you want to format the currency number in. Then right-click the selected cell and choose Format Cells on the open shortcut menu, as shown in Figure 1.

Step 2nd, open the Excel Format Cells dialog box and switch to the Number tab. Select the currency option in the Category list, and set the number of decimal places in the Decimal trim box on the right (2-bit defaults). and select the currency symbol type (the currency symbol in the currency symbol list that contains 390 different countries and regions) in the currency symbol Drop-down list, and then in negative numbers, as appropriate Select the representation type of negative numbers in the list box. Set Finish Click OK, as shown in Figure 2.
