Dreamweaver
Dreamweaver provides parameter selection for automatically starting a particular application to edit a particular file type. Note that to use the startup and editing features of fireworks, first make sure that fireworks is set to the primary editor for GIF, JPEG, and PNG files in Dreamweaver.
Fireworks has been available since its inception, although older versions of fireworks can be used as external image editors, but these editions only offer limited startup and editing capabilities. Fireworks 2 does not support starting and editing the source PNG file for the placed image, fireworks 4 does not fully support editing of cell properties in the Dreameweaver table, nor does it support the behavior applied in Dreamweaver.
The specific setup steps are as follows:
(1) In Dreamweaver, click the "Edit" menu, select the "preference" option in the pop-up Drop-down menu, and then select the "File types/editors" option in the pop-up box.
(2) in the "Extentions" list, select a Web page image file name extension for. gif,. jpg, or. png.
(3) If fireworks is not in the list, click the Plus button, locate the fireworks application on your hard disk, and then click Open. If fireworks appears in the "Editors" list, then you can select it directly. Finally, click the button on the Editors list. As shown in Figure 18.
