Set clip art dimensions in the Word2007 document

In a Word2007 document, users can set clip art dimensions in a variety of ways. For example, drag clip art control handles, specify clip art width and height values, and so on, the three most commonly used methods are described below.

1. Drag Clip art control handle

When a user selects clip art in a Word2007 document, a 8-directional control handle appears around the clip. Drag the four-corner control handle to enlarge or reduce the size of the clip in a wide-high proportion, drag the control handle on the four sides to enlarge or reduce the clip in the corresponding direction, but the clip art's height ratio will change, resulting in the clip art morphing, as shown in Figure 2009031908.

2. Directly enter clip art width and height dimensions

If users need to control the size of clip art in Word documents, you can enter the width and height dimensions of the clip directly in the Picture Tools Ribbon. Set the method as follows:

Open the Word2007 document window and select the clip art you want to set the size for. In the Format tab of the Picture Tools Ribbon, set the width and height values individually, as shown in Figure 2009031909.

3. Set clip art size in the Size dialog box

If the user wants to set the size of the clip more carefully, you can open the Size dialog box to set it up, as described in the following steps:

Step 1th, open the Word2007 document window, right-click the clip you want to set the size for, and select Size on the shortcut menu that opens, as shown in Figure 2009031910.

Step 2nd, in the Open Word2007 Size dialog box, switch to the Size tab. In the size and rotate area, you can set the height and width dimensions of clip art; In the scale area, select the lock aspect ratio and relative to Clip original dimensions check box, and set the height or width of the zoom percentage, the corresponding width or height scaling percentage will automatically adjust, and maintain the aspect ratio unchanged; If you are not satisfied with the size of the clip, you can click the Reset button to restore the original size of the clip art. When you are finished, click the Close button, as shown in Figure 2009031911.
