Set folder permissions in the XP System

Source: Internet
Author: User

In the XP system, the folder attribute does not have the "Security" option by default. To set the folder permission, you need to manually set it.

The following describes how to set the "Security" tab in the folder attributes:

1. Default Folder Properties

2. When we need to set "Permissions" for the folder, remove the √ before "use simple file sharing" in "Tools> options", and apply → OK.

3. Set the folder property map:

In this way, you can set folder permissions, add users again, and set different permissions for the added users.

The whole process is no longer simple, and there is no technical content, but it will be quite tangled when I don't know it.

Note: In the XP system, most C disks are in the fat format, and folder permissions cannot be set in the fat format disk. Therefore, if you want to set folder permissions, you must put the folder on an NTFS disk.
