1. In the Start menu, search for the Enter "gpedit.msc" command to press ENTER to open the Group Policy Editor.
2. Expand Computer Configuration → "Windows Settings" → "Security Settings" → "Account Policy" → "Password Policy", double-click the "Password must meet complexity requirements" policy, open its Properties dialog box, set the property to "enabled," and then click OK.
Although the password is set to meet the complexity requirements, but if the password length is too short, then use the exhaustive method is still easy to crack out. Therefore, you need to specify the minimum length of the password setting.
3. Double-click the Minimum password length policy to open its properties dialog, clicking the up and down arrows to adjust the length of the password that must be set.
Tip: In addition to limiting the length of password settings, you can also set the maximum password retention period to force regular replacement of passwords. Setting the Enforce password history avoids repeating passwords that are set more than once.
