By default, a picture inserted into a Word2007 document is inserted as a character into a Word document, and its position changes as the other characters change, and the user cannot move the picture freely. By setting the text wrapping style for a picture, you can move the position of the picture freely, as described in the following steps:
Step 1th, open the Word2007 document window and select the picture you want to surround with text.
Step 2nd, in the Format tab of the Open Picture Ribbon, click the Text Wrapping button in the Arrange group, and select the appropriate text wrapping in the Open Text wrapping menu, as shown in Figure 2009021703.

In the text wrapping menu, the meaning of each wrapping is described in the following ways:
(1) Surrounded by: regardless of whether the picture is a rectangular picture, text in a rectangular way around the picture four weeks;
(2) Compact wrapping: If the picture is a rectangle, the text wraps around the picture in a rectangular way, and if the picture is irregular, the text is tightly wrapped around the picture for four weeks;
(3) Lined with the text below: The picture in the next, the text is divided into two layers, the text will cover the picture;
(4) floating in the top of the text: The picture on the top, the text is divided into two layers, the picture will cover the text;
(5) Top and bottom wrapping: text wraps above and below the picture;
(6) Through-type wrapping: The text can traverse the blank area of irregular picture to surround the picture;
(7) Edit wrapping vertex: The user can edit the vertices of the text wrapping area to achieve more personalized wrapping effect.
