Set the protection WPS 2012 Table Formula

The statistical results are of course made with WPS 2012 forms. To count each student's ranking, I designed the results table with the WPS 2012 form, as shown in Figure 1.

The student's examination number and the name is the unification entry completes. and the professional information and class information is based on the test number used to extract the formula. Each teacher only needs to enter the corresponding subject's score (e2:i200 cell area), as for the total score and the student in this profession's rank also uses the formula to obtain directly.

Practical application found that, for various reasons, the teacher in the input points often change the original form, and sometimes even changed the formula, so that the final statistical results of chaos, or even error. Therefore, it is necessary to protect those cells involved in the formula, only to allow teachers to enter the corresponding account scores, other cells can not make any changes.

In the WPS 2012 table, it is easy to accomplish this task.

To select the E2:i200 cell range, click the button in the Change function group on the Review tab of the Ribbon, as shown in Figure 2,

Cancels the lock status of these cells (all cells are locked by default). When you are done, click the Protect Sheet button in the feature group to open the Protect Sheet dialog box. Set the password in the Password entry box in the dialog box, and then select only unlocked cells in the "Allow all users of this worksheet" list below, as shown in Figure 3.

Confirm the password again when you are sure.

Now, in the E2:i200 cell range of the worksheet, we can modify the data of the cell at will, while the other cells don't give you the chance to choose at all (you can't see the mouse pointer, click or double-click), even if you want to modify the formula is not possible, this achieves the purpose of protecting the formula. It's simple, isn't it?

If you want to modify the formula, you need to know the password. Click the Remove Sheet Protection button in the Change feature group on the Review tab of the Ribbon, as shown in Figure 4.

Then enter the password in the dialog box that pops up, and the formula changes will be fine.

Compared with the previous WPS operation and MS Office, the WPS 2012 interface in the case of the formula protection operation is more convenient, only need to be in the same tab of the same functional group can be completed, very convenient.
