Do we need to read the user manual to know how to use a good chair? Of course, the answer is no. When we see a good chair, we naturally know what it can do and how we can use it. That is to say, the concept of "Chair" is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. It is a highly recognized prototype (Archetype ). In the existing mobile field, we are also exploring how to incorporate the concept of "prototype" into our design.
Prototype definition: refers to the original form of things that have been copied, imitated, or simulated. It is a symbol that can be widely recognized by people.
We climbed up the tall building along the ladder, sat down in the chair, and opened the door for a walk. When we completed this series of actions, we seldom thought about how we could sit down in the chair, or how can we use the stairs? Experience and memory help us to naturally complete these actions!
This is what we need to explore. In the mobile field, how can we achieve this in our user experience design? We hope that we can use the concept of prototype to complete the process, but now there are indeed many Apps that reflect the application of the prototype concept. There are several forms to come up.
◆ Application-centric
◆ Activity-centered
◆ Time-centric
◆ Situation Awareness (geographic location) as the center
◆ Task-centered
◆ Emotion-centered
◆ Focus on character Characteristics
