Read the Code of Ethical Practice for Software Engineers (Association of Computing Machinery, ACM). Because it is an English version, reading is not very smooth.
The two most impressive places are as follows:
To ensure, as much as possible, that their efforts would be used for good, software engineers must commit themselves to mak ING software engineering a beneficial and respected profession.
> I think this is the spirit of the whole code. Software engineers develop and follow the guidelines to make the profession respectable and rewarding. All the rules of the whole code are also taken into account--between the lines you can feel an extremely upright moral view, and a profound concern for the user and for the profession. It can be said that the whole criterion presents a kind of noble and gracious appearance. It also gave me a sudden respect for the industry.
the Code is not simply for adjudicating the nature of questionable acts; It also have an important educational function. As this Code expresses the consensus of the profession on ethical issues, it's a means to educate both the public and ASP Iring professionals about the ethical obligations of all software engineers.
I have felt something about the educational significance of the guidelines. It's great to take this into account when formulating the guidelines again. I know that some schools offer relevant courses, and although each one doesn't seem to need to be explained, it's easy to understand and create a sense of identity, but I think it would be interesting and meaningful if the actual situation was relevant to the industry.
last excerpt:6.01. Help develop a organizational environment favorable to acting ethically.
Remember this sense of morality that you feel today from the norm.
