first, stay focused


The best mobile apps focus on doing a good job. You should use a word to describe what your application does, without mentioning any "details". The user should be able to start it, use it, and then use it for a few seconds to achieve its purpose. If the user needs to be able to use more than four layers of menus, the application will soon be uninstalled.



second, smart layout of mobile phone screen


In general, the phone screen is from the top down layout, important information will be placed above. But in the operation, most people are single-handed mobile phones, commonly used operations, to be placed under the interface.


There is also a principle that the smallest touch unit, typically 44 pixels. If it's too small, your thumb is hard to touch, or it's easy to trigger a false action. Also, do not let the interface be too crowded.



third, consider the soft keyboard behavior


Most mobile applications use keyboard input in one or more screens. Unfortunately, many designers do not consider how to display the interface after activating the on-screen keyboard. When you test, make sure you have enough space on the screen to let users know what they are doing, even when the onscreen keyboard is activated.



Four, put the tab in the right place


In iOS, the Primary tab navigation does not look like a tab. They are some of the icons at the bottom of the screen that users use to switch the main features of the app. Most iOS users are not accustomed to this feature appearing at the top of the window, but Android users are accustomed to this. On Android, tabs are usually placed at the top of the application and can be toggled left and right.



The key here is that if your app relies on a "tab" to navigate the app's main features, you'll need to put them in different places on iOS and Android.



v. Consideration of different screen orientations



When users perform a reverse screen-directed operation, they are usually ready to delve into the content in anticipation. Therefore, for applications with content acquisition and editing capabilities, it is particularly important to consider providing different modes of content operation in different screen orientations. In addition, the different orientation mode will also produce the problem of the change of the mode of the machine, for example, from one hand to the other, so the switching of related interaction modes is also a problem we need to consider simultaneously.



Six, considerate blank tip placeholder


If your application has only a few data entry fields, it is friendly to show a blank hint, or it can make your application look cleaner. If your application has a large number of data entry fields, using placeholders instead of labels can become very confusing. Once the user enters some information into the input field, unless the information is self-explanatory, the information needs to be guessed by the user.



Vii. Use the Back button appropriately

On Android, the system-provided back button in the app should enable the user to get back functionality. While the back button in iOS is controlled by software, you should always provide a return button, in principle the user is accustomed to returning the button in the upper left corner. Following Back-button's contractual behavior and operating system-specific locations is critical to getting your application to meet user expectations.


Eight, note the size of the button


There is a tendency in simple design to say that in order to add something we can adapt it if we just slightly reduce the size of the button or font. This is a dangerous and disastrous!!! If you've ever opened a Web page that's not optimized for your mobile device on your smartphone, you know what a frustrating user experience it is to not click a hyperlink. In the app, if the user can't choose to zoom in, that's a bigger problem.



Keep the button size large enough to be easy to use and test your app on a small screen device, such as the iphone 4, which still has a comfortable experience.


Nine, consider the button position


When the user is holding a smartphone, the lower half of the screen can be easily reached with the thumb. The right-handed user can be exposed to the lower-left corner, while Lefty is the opposite.
If you want to be able to operate one hand, remember this.
