The synergy tool is absolutely fun and easy to use. Next we will step through a set of mouse and keyboard to operate both Windows and Linux systems. The environment in this article is Windows XP and ubuntu9.10.
1. Install the tool
Windows
Search for synergy1.3.1 and install it by default.
Ubuntu
Apt-Get install synergy
2. Configuration
As a server on Windows, the configuration is as follows:
Open synergy on Windows, and set:
Click Configure
Add two machines and connect them as follows:
Windows and linucos-desktop are hostnames. In Windows, you can view the host name on my computer. In ubuntu, you can view the host name.
3. Use
After windows is configured:
Click Start.
On the Ubuntu end, you only need to run the following command:
Synergyc 192.168.1.7 this address is for Windows
Now, you can use it ~
Tip: if you are not logged on to Ubuntu, you can log on via ssh. Start synergyc 192.168.1.7 and try ~ Haha
If it is a server in Ubuntu, You need to configure it as follows:

Then, start synergys-f -- config. File
Wired Network cannot access wireless network. Please note!
When Windows is used as the server, you can set the server as a service and start it at startup.
The Ubuntu client can be set to start at startup:
Add synergyc 10.0.1.2 to/etc/rc. Local.
