Churchill was an outstanding leader in the army of Britain and its allies in the Second World War. Some famous speeches he made in his life were also the most memorable in modern history.

Andrea: But he's most famous for leading the United Kingdom during

Andrea: in these programmes we're focussing on famous Britons

Jean: our topic today is one of the most famous man in British history: Winston Churchill.

1874, he was a great statesman
(Politician), an officer in the British Army, a historian

Jean: Yes. Churchill not only gives courage and confidence to all British people in the Second World War, but also increases morale of all British allies. However, not everyone may know that Churchill is an excellent historian and artist.
