First, configure the machine FTP

1.1 , installation

during installation of the system, select Install VSFTPD.

1.2 , creating a normal user (test)

#useradd –m ftpuser//(Create Ftpuser user at the same time, create ftpuser directory under Home)

#passwd ftpuser// Modify the Ftpuser user password

1.3 , Configuration

# vim/etc/vsftpd.conf
Open the following line on the default configuration (uncomment the # number)
Write_enable=yes
Local_enable=yes
local_umask=022
Chroot_local_user=yes
Chroot_list_enable=yes
Chroot_list_file=/etc/vsftpd.chroot_list

Anonymous_enable=yes// whether to allow anonymous access

Anon_world_readable_only=yes

Anon_upload_enable=yes

anon_umask=022

Anon_mkdir_write_enable=yes

Anon_other_write_enable=yes

#vim/etc/vsftpd.conf add
Anon_root=/opt/file//Indicates the default directory when anonymous users log on to FTP
Local_root=/opt/file//Indicates the default directory when using local users to log on to FTP

1.4 , creating the/etc/vsftpd.chroot_list directory

# touch/etc/vsftpd.chroot_list

1.5 Restarting the FTP service

# RCV, sftpd restart

1.6 , FTP boot

#chkconfig vsftpd on

1.7 , open the root user FTP permission

# Vim/etc/ftpuser before you find root, add the # comment .

#root

Second, FTP server configuration

2.1 , upload the operating system image, and the required packages

# cd/opt/

upload sles-11-sp3-dvd-x86_64-gm-dvd1.iso

#mkdir/mnt/cdrom

#mount-O Loop/opt/sles-11-sp3-dvd-x86_64-gm-dvd1.iso/mnt/cdrom

#cp-r/mnt/cdrom/*/opt/file/

# cd/opt/file/suse/x86_64/

Upload the required RPM package to the current directory

# rcvsftpd Restart
