Fault symptom:
Although the notebook is more energy-efficient, there is also a very fatal error, that is, battery life. If you often use a notebook in a mobile environment, with the constant charge and discharge, you will be able to feel that the notebook's endurance is slowly decreasing, that is, the battery can accommodate less and less power.
Solution:
Although no one can stop the decrease in battery capacity, if we can query the battery capacity at any time, we can infer whether the method we use the notebook is correct, the impact on the battery is small. Previously, we used third-party software to test the battery capacity. I don't know if Microsoft has come up with this for us. The built-in Powercfg function in Win7 can help us solve this problem.
We can intuitively see the battery status through command detection in the system.
1. Choose "Start Menu"> "all programs"> "attachments". Right-click the command prompt and choose "run as administrator;
2. Enter "powercfg-energy" in the window and press enter;
3. Output "powercfg-energy ". Press enter and the program will begin to check the system's power management-related policies, settings, software and hardware compatibility, but also to the current running process for 60 seconds of tracking detection, it mainly removes the CPU usage of other programs except normal use by users. Therefore, do not operate your computer at this time. The detection result is displayed, and a save path is displayed. Search by path. As shown in the following figure:
Note that if the working path of the powercfg command is the system32 folder and the 32-bit browser is used on the 64-bit system, the system redirection may cause the problem, you cannot open this document. In this case, you need to find "Internet Explorer (64-bit)" in the Start menu and use 64-bit IE to browse.
4. Open the detection file through IE, as shown in the figure:
After opening the file, find the battery information section, which records all information about the current laptop battery, as well as the designed saturation capacity of the battery and the capacity after the last full charge, so we can see the current remaining battery capacity. In addition, this document generated by Powercfg provides detailed reports on power usage efficiency in the system, including "error", "warning", and "information, it is very helpful for us to understand how to save power. You can read it in detail to solve the report and make your notebook longer.
