Solution for MTP Device Driver Installation failure

1. Go to the Device Manager.
Right-click MTP with a yellow question mark and select "property" and "details" and "device sample ID" (use Ctrl + C to copy ).

2. Find c: \ windows \ INF \ wpdmtp. inf to open (or open through running), and find
[Generic. ntx86]
% Genericmtp. devicedesc % = MTP,USB \ ms_comp_mtp
[Generic. ntamd64]
% Genericmtp. devicedesc % = MTP,USB \ ms_comp_mtp

3. Change USB \ ms_comp_mtp in 2 to part of the device sample ID copied in 1 (similar to USB \ vid_xxxx & pid_xxxx & mi_00 ).


4. In the Device Manager, right-click the MTP driver with a yellow question mark and choose Update driver. The installation is successful.

 

Note:USB \ vid_xxxx & pid_xxxx & mi_00 is here,You can use it if you do not need it after mi_00.
