I wonder if you have encountered such a situation, that is, after the software sends a print command to the printer, the printer has no response at all.
So how can we solve this problem in actual operations? I hope the content below will help you.

1. First, check whether the printer has been set to "Pause printing". If yes, the printer will certainly not accept the printing command no matter how it sends the printing command to the printer, to enable the printer to accept the user's response, you can cancel the "Pause printing" setting. When canceling this setting, you can open the printer operation window first, right-clickProgramIcon. From the shortcut menu that appears, you can see a check mark in front of the "Pause printing" command item. Just click this command option with the mouse, you can cancel the "Pause printing" setting.

2. Check whether the printer connected to the computer has been set as the default printer. Because in many Windows programs, When you click the print command, the program will transfer the content of the currently opened page to the default printer. If the printer used is not set as the default printer in advance, the printed content cannot be transmitted to the currently installed printer, and the document cannot be printed.

In this case, you can open the printer operation window, right-click the corresponding printer icon, and select the "set as default" command from the shortcut menu that appears, you can set the printer to the default printer used by all Windows programs.

3. Check whether the printer is online. If the printer is not online, the printer will naturally not work. To make the printer online, make sure that the power supply of the printer has been connected, the power switch of the printer must be turned on, and the paper of the printer must be properly placed, the toner, ink cartridges, or ribbons in the printer must be valid and ensure that no paper jam is available for the current printer.

Of course, the most direct way to check whether a printer is online is to check whether the "online" indicator on the printer control panel is on.

4. Check which port of the printer is used by the current program. You can check the port on the Windows desktop, click Start, set, control panel, and printer. In the displayed printer window, find the corresponding printer icon and right-click it, select the "properties" command in the shortcut menu, and click the "details" tab in the pop-up printer Properties dialog box, in the "print to the following port" setting under the tab page, check whether the printer has been set to the appropriate printing port.
