oxc000000e fault
Failure performance: The system does not log on correctly when booting, but directly pops up the OXC000000E fault hint shown in Figure 2.
Cause analysis: Due to the installation or uninstallation of some of the more special software, the Win7 boot program will often cause very serious damage, so that Win7 at the start of a oxc000000e error will cause the system can not start properly. In this case, pressing the F8 shortcut key also fails to bring up the advanced boot menu of Win7 and, of course, does not perform the repair operation in safe mode.
Workaround: Execute the following five DOS commands sequentially in the cursor position of the window shown in Figure 1 (the 3,c disk is the system disk installed by Win7, the same as below):
C:
CD Windowssystem32
Bcdedit/set {default} osdevice boot
Bcdedit/set {default} device boot
Bcdedit/set {default} Detecthal 1
Tip: If you do not have a Win7 installation CD, you can also enter the WinPE environment to perform the above five DOS commands.
Workaround: For the repair operation of the hard drive master boot record (i.e. MBR), this failure can be easily resolved with the repair tool--bootrec.exe in the Win7 installation CD. The specific steps are: First start the computer with the Win7 installation CD, when the CD-ROM boot is complete, press the SHIFT+F10 key, bring up the Command Prompt window and enter the DOS command "BOOTREC/FIXMBR" (1), then press ENTER, Follow the prompts to complete the hard drive master boot record rewrite operation.
