After the system is installed with a genuine XP SP2 Professional Edition
The following error occurs when you enable printer sharing:
1. Due to network security considerations, NetBIOS was disabled beforehand. When searching for a printer or \ computer, the system prompts that the path could not be found.
The troubleshooting method is to enable NetBIOS and enable both the client and server.
2. When NetBIOS is enabled, use \ computer to connect to and print the shared computer. The system always prompts that the default account is guest.
Previously, guest was disabled and enabled. The password is not set by default and access is not allowed.
Set the password for the Guest account and add it to the Administrators group. The remote connection is successful.
A shared printer is found. Right-click the printer and add it to the local device. The printer is successfully printed for the first time.
3. After the first successful use of the shared print, I found that both the client and the service machine were paralyzed, and the CPU usage was.
After the two computers are restarted, the problem is solved, but the second time after printing is paralyzed.
This is still the case for adding memory to the computer that is enabled for print sharing.
Go to the "enable shared computer policy" console and choose "Computer Configuration"> "Windows Settings"> "Security Settings"> "Local Policy"> "User Rights Assignment ".
We can see that a policy is described as follows:
Deny access to this computer from the network(Policy) |SUPPORT_388945a0, asp_net, guest(Security Settings)
Double-click the project to enter the property form, select guest, and delete it.
Then apply, confirm, and exit the console.
Clear the guest password and make sure that the Microsoft network file and printer sharing option is selected in the "local connection" attribute of the print server.
In this way, connect to the printer server by \ computer, reconnect the printer, and add the printer to the local device.
In this way, the shared printer will be applied smoothly, and the crash will be eliminated.
4. If no, check whether the IPX protocol is installed. If no, install the IPX protocol.
5. Note that when HP Inkjet Printing is used, the printer has a fast, common, and optimal printer mode.
To make printing faster and save ink, you should set the print attributes on both the client computer and the Print Service computer to fast printing.
If the words printed by the HP toner cartridge printer are not clear, and the other locations are normal, take the toner cartridge out and shake it to restore it. If no words can be printed
Replace the toner cartridge.
