Solution to VNC flat in centos6.5
Problem description
1. After the FusionCompute platform is built, a virtual machine based on RHEL6.5 64bit is created. After the initial installation of the virtual machine is completed, a flat screen is displayed on the VNC interface and you cannot log on to the Redhat desktop system.
2. When creating a virtual machine, the system installation wizard configures the network. You can log on to the system through SSH on the screen.
Solution
1. Find the corresponding Redhat screen case through the network, and describe the defects of the xorg-x11-drv-cirrus image driver in RHEL6.5 64bit, which will cause the system under the xen platform (FusionCompute, VNC interface screen.
2. Download the corresponding patch file: xorg-x11-drv-cirrus-1.5.2-2.el6.x86_64.rpm
3. Because the network address has been configured when creating the virtual machine, use the WINSCP tool to upload the RPM package to the corresponding directory.
4. When installing the driver package:
# Rpm-U xorg-x11-drv-cirrus-1.5.2-2.el6.x86_64.rpm
Error message prompt
Error: Failed dependencies:
Xserver-abi (videodrv-15)> = 0 is needed by xorg-x11-drv-cirrus-1.5.2-2.el6.x86_64.rpm
5. In this case, the rpm must be installed with parameters as follows:
# Rpm-U-force -- nodeps xorg-x11-drv-cirrus-1.5.2-2.el6.x86_64.rpm
6. After the installation is complete, restart the system and log on to the Redhat desktop through VNC.
