Today, a VMware Workstation was installed and found that XAMPP's Apache could not be started. Looking at the error log, it appears that the VMware Workstation occupies 443 ports causing the conflict. Look, the original VMware Workstation has a service that shares a virtual machine, taking up 443 of ports.

For stand-alone installation of virtual machines, this feature is not useful, disabled off on it. Action steps are as follows:

1, open VMware Workstation, click on the Menu "edit-Preferences";

2, find the Left function list in the "Shared Virtual machine", select, in the right side of the interface click "Change Settings";

3, this time, originally is disabled "Disable sharing" button is activated, click the "Disable Sharing" button, you can disable this feature.

4, if you want to use this feature, you can change the 443 port to 446 or other ports can be.
