Sometimes, when we execute pod install
or pod search
order, the terminal is stuck in the ' Pod Setup ' interface,
In fact, the situation may not really be stuck, the following two solutions are given.
Scenario 1:
- When executing the
pod install
command, add the parameter --verbose
: pod install ‘ThirdPartyName‘ --verbose
, you can display the installation information in the terminal details, see what the pod is currently doing (in fact, in the installation of the third-party library index), confirm whether it is really stuck.
2. Enter the terminal home directory, enter ls -a
to see the Hidden pod folder, enter cd .cocoapods
into the Pod folder, and then enter to see the capacity of the du -sh
Repos folder, a few seconds to execute the command, you can see repos capacity is increasing, to increase capacity to 300 + M, description, the Repos folder index directory is installed. At this point, the Pod function is ready for normal use.
Scenario 2:
- With scenario 1, we know that during pod setup, the pod is actually installing the index directory of the third-party library, so we can copy the index directory directly from githups to the Repos folder.
- Go to https://github.com/CocoaPods/Specs, download the index, and then copy it into the Repos folder. The directory structure looks like this:
- Completely exit the terminal, restart the terminal, Pod function can be used normally.
Scenario 3 (Personal): Copy the colleague, paste it over, make sure the directory, the number of files
