When installing Flash Player, the system prompts "the Adobe @ flash @ Player version you are trying to install is not the latest version. Please visit the Player download center to obtain the latest and safest version ." The same is true for downloading the latest official version. Why?
Cause: When Adobe Flash Player was deletedProgramAs a result, the relevant registry information is not cleared together, so the system will think that the latest version of Adobe Flash Player has been installed, so other versions cannot be installed.
Solution:
Open regedit in running, and find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Macromedia \ flashplayer \ safeversions in the registry.
Safeversions contains the Flash Player version information, so it is OK to delete the higher version information. Delete the key value of 10.
After this operation, you can install it normally. However, if your operating system is 64-bit, the registry key value of the 32-bit program is written in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ wow6432node location, so we can find the key value of 32-bit Adobe Flash Player in the 64-bit system below.
Open regedit in running, and find it in Registry
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ wow6432node \ Macromedia \ flashplayer \ safeversions], delete the version information you want to install, uninstall ActiveX of earlier versions, and delete C: \ windows \ syswow64 \ macromed directory, and macromed directory under c: \ windows \ system32 \. reinstall the directory.
Note: Adobe has provided a dedicated uninstall tool. We can download it through the following link, which can better clear the installed browser plug-in Adobe Flash Player.
