The possible cause is:
1. The kmplayer is uninstalled.
2. Installed quiktime and other software to rewrite the Registry
3. My File Settings are incorrect.
Specific solution:
1. Choose Start> Run. In the run input box, enter "regsvr32 c: \ windows \ system32 \ pngfilt. dll" (then click OK)
Note that this pngfilt. dll is in C: \ WINDOWS \ system in some systems. You need to check where the file is and modify the path based on your system. If "C: \ windows \ system32 \ pngfilt. dll is loaded at registration, but the dllregistersever Input Point is not found. The file cannot be registered. "This indicates that the file may be damaged. You have to copy it from another host. Register again.
2. Some people open a folder because of their system settings. Choose "Tools"> "Folder Options"> "file type" from the menu above ", select the "Restore" button below. (For example, Illustration 1 ).
3. Start-> Run. In the run input box, enter "Regedit" to the path "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Internet Settings \ accepted documents ", right-click "new"> "string value" on the right and name it with the largest number. Here I am 3, so name it 4 and assign it to "image/PNG ". (See figure 2 ).
4. Open the registry [hkey_classes_root \ mime]. Under normal circumstances, there are several items in the registry. If you cannot open a PNG Image, there are only database items. Under normal circumstances, there are hundreds of items in the database, and under exception, there are only three or four items. In this case, you can copy the mime key from another user's normal machine (XP can be copied from Vista) to import the mime key registry on your own machine. Sometimes there is a problem with the mime permission (for example, empty permissions). You only need to delete all and then import it.
Conclusion: The above four methods should be used to resolve the problem. If the problem persists, we recommend that you reinstall IE and upgrade it to the latest version.
