With the development of the routing industry, the application of wireless routers is also more extensive, and there are a lot of users at the same time, so I studied why the wireless router cannot be connected and the solution, I would like to share it with you here and hope it will be useful to you. At present, WLAN applications have become an important means of high-speed wireless data access in indoor communities, especially in hot areas. Many readers have some knowledge about the wireless route settings.

We use a wireless router as an example to describe how to set up a router. There are a wide variety of wireless routers on the market, but they do not leave them alone. As long as the readers give a different picture, wireless route settings can naturally be used. For broadband wireless access networks, there are currently three standard protocols in the world, namely the ATM Forum Standard, the European ETSI standard, and the IEEE Standard. The IEEE Standard Protocol is the most widely used WLAN standard in the world. In 1997, the IEEE 802.11 standard was first formulated, marking the creation of a wireless LAN.

Although the IEEE 802.11 standard has been formulated for many years, it may be because of the equipment cost and extended popularity issues that have not been accepted by the Chinese market and users. At the end of, wireless routers based on the IEEE 802.11b standard began to receive attention from some users, especially those with laptops. In just 04 years, users in China were greatly increased, while the cost and unit price of wireless network devices based on the IEEE 802.11g standard also fell sharply, the IEEE 802.11g standard has been further popularized. It is clear that the IEEE 802.11g standard is very suitable for families and small offices. It is faster than the IEEE 802.11b standard, of course, the IEEE 802.11b standard can fully cope with simple Internet access, while IEEE 802.11g can meet the needs of users to transmit large files, the cost of IEEE 802.11g devices is currently fully accepted by users. For Wireless devices, we chose the TP-Link Wireless Router WR541G 54M Wireless package with a high market penetration rate.

Before configuring a wireless router, we must first connect the relevant lines. First, insert the network cable connecting to the Internet into the WAN port of the wireless router. Then, we need a computer to configure the router through the LAN port connecting to the router through the network cable. First, make sure that the TCP/IP protocol is installed on the local computer operating system. This step can be ignored for users of Windows 2000 or above. Because the default vro address is 192.168.1.1 and the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0, you must manually set the local connection address to the same CIDR block to configure the vro normally, set the local connection address to 192.168.1.xxxxxx = 2 ~ 254 ). The subnet mask is 255.255.255.0. After the configuration is complete, open IE and enter the default address of 192.168.1.1 wireless route. The above window will pop up, asking the user to enter the Administrator's username and password. The user name and password can be obtained from the product manual, and are generally admin.

Generally, vrouters can be directly managed through the Web, and this vro is the same. The interface uses full Chinese settings, which will bring some convenience to domestic users. After you log on to IE, a window is displayed automatically. The product setting wizard allows you to set the wireless router easily and quickly. After clicking Next, three most common network login methods are provided. Taking the most common ADSL as an example, we select PPPoE as the virtual dialing method and click Next, then, enter the account and password used to log on to the network, and click Next To Go To The Wireless Settings page.

This section briefly describes the features of several options on this page. If the wireless function is enabled, the host connected to the wireless network can access the limited network; SSID number, that is, the login name used by the wireless LAN for identity authentication. Only authenticated users can access the wireless network. The frequency band is used to determine the wireless frequency segment used by the wireless router, the selected range is from 1 ~ 11. Most of the channels used most are 11 channels, which are exactly two signals in the same GHz segment, with a difference of more than 4 frequencies, the signal will not interfere with each other. Therefore, Channel 6 is usually used together with Channel 11 ). Mode. You can select the 11 mbps bandwidth of the 802.11b mode, and the 54Mbps bandwidth of the 802.11g mode is also compatible with the 802.11b mode ). After the configuration is complete, click Next. After that, we click the running status on the Web page. We can see that the vro still has no dial-up connection. We need to manually unbind the connection before connecting to the Internet. After the connection, we can see various statuses in the vro on this page.
