Some Opinions on WPF books

I have read three books one after another, including WPF Unleashed, Application = Code + Markup and Programing WPF, but I have not read any of them. I will first look at the previous chapters, and then I will go over the chapters that interest me.
Among all the WPF books, many people have the highest rating on WPF Unleashed, but in my personal sense, I prefer Programing WPF. Because the former is indeed a bit wordy, it may be a little wider for the readers; the latter is more refined, and it is all about ideas. The two books share a common feature of why WPF is designed in this way. However, the content covered by the two books is wider and may be limited by space limitations, not as clear and easy to read as the latter.
Petzold's Code + Markup cannot be said to be a good book, but it has a fatal drawback: Almost no imageAnd some things are really amazing. I will give this book 6 points now. If I add a suitable picture, I think it can reach 8 points (out of 10 points ). Another thing I don't like is that it mechanically introduces various basic controls from start to end (of course, in this process, I gradually introduced some other things that are more general, but this method is more suitable for reading books from the beginning. I don't think it is necessary, this information can be obtained more efficiently from the intelliisense and MSDN Library. Of course, I still like the part that uses C # code to express the semantics similar to XAML. It's just a matter of knowing and knowing it.
In contrast, Sells's book has an excellent tradition: The content is very organized, very practical, and more like a real BooksThe previous Programming Windows Forms and the current Programming WPF are like this. Single-view directory, Chapter 1 after HelloWorld, Chapter 2 is Application and Setting, Chapter 3 Layout, Chapter 4 Input, Chapter 5 Control, Chapter 6 and Chapter 7 data binding... what I feel is that the pace is compact, the narration is clear, and the key points are prominent. It's just a pleasure to read the first episode of Prison Break. WPF Unleashed is more soothing and elegant than Programming WPF. Its biggest advantage is that the pictures are colorful and very beautiful (but the homepage of the chapter on the red background, on the computer screen, you can see it ).
In general, I scored 9.5 points for Programming WPF, 8.5 points for WPF Unleashed, and 6 points for Application = Code + Markup. If you have Windows Forms Programming experience, I strongly recommend you read Programming WPF.
