SQL random query data Statement (NewID (), Rnd, Rand (), random ())

Source: Internet

Tags rand

SQL Server:

The code is as follows: Copy code
Select top n * From TABLE Order By NewID ()

The NewID () function creates a unique value of the uniqueidentifier type. The preceding statement reads N records randomly from the Table.

Access:

The code is as follows: Copy code

Select top n * From TABLE Order By Rnd (ID)

In Rnd (ID), the ID is an automatic number field, which can be completed using any other value, for example, the name field (UserName)

Select top n * From TABLE Order BY Rnd (Len (UserName ))

MySql:

The code is as follows: Copy code

Select * From TABLE Order By Rand () Limit 10

PostgreSQL:

The code is as follows: Copy code
Select * from glxt022 order by random () limit 5

Summary: I used the above methods to come to the instance after order by. Only the top command used by mssql is also the limitation of its language database server.
