SqlServer2012 Purging Log files

SQL Server generates a large number of log files in use and can be deleted when it is not needed.

Delete method:

Right-click Database--task----shrink-to-file

Go to the Shrink File page and follow the configuration below.

Sometimes shrinkage is not successful because the database is not yet set to Simple mode and operates as follows:

Right-click the database name, point ' Properties ', ' options ', and restore Mode to ' simple ', ' OK ' button.

Then repeat the above operation to complete.
