New layer.

Foreground views: r155, g155, and b155.

Filter-Miscellaneous-Add a different color. Number: 30%; distribution: Gaussian distribution; monochrome.

Dynamic blur: angle: 0 (determines the drawing direction), distance: 150 pixels (determines the drawing length ).

Layer panel -- create a new fill or adjust layer button -- gradient ...--
Gradient color: Gray (155,155,155) White (255,255,255 );
Style: Linear;
Angle: 0 degrees;
Zoom: 60%.

Change layer blending mode: soft light.

Hybrid layer: press shift to click Layer 1 and gradient fill 1 -- Ctrl + E.

 

 

Create laminated steel sheet

Create a selection area on the brushed Stainless Steel Board (any shape, as required ).

Copy the selection content to the new layer (CTRL + J ).

Add projection.
Layer style-projection;
Color: 0, 0;

 

 

Create a horizontal (vertical) Concave (convex) slot

Create a horizontal (vertical) selection area with a pixel width on the brushed stainless steel board.

Select -- modify -- Extend: 5 pixels.

Create a layer.

Fill in the foreground color (white ).

Add layer style-slope and relief;
Size: 5; softening: 0;
Angle: 129 degrees (horizontal angle); Height: 58 degrees (vertical angle );
Glossy contour lines: tapered.

Layer fill: 0.

 

 

Add sunken text

On the steel sheet layer just now.

Select the horizontal text tool;
Foreground color: Black:
Font: Arial black;
Text Size: 20 pixels.

Input text.

Add layer style-slope and relief.
Relief direction: down;
Glossy contour lines: linear;

Layer fill: 0.

 

 

Tip: filling only affects the filled foreground color, but does not affect the layer style.

Small Hole on Steel Plate

Create a file. (20*20 pixels)

Name: Fill image:
Width: 20; Height: 20;
Resolution: 150 pixels/inch;
Background: transparent.

Draw a circle in the center and fill in the foreground color: black.

Select All.

Edit -- Define a pattern; Name it a small hole.

Return to the drawing sheet document.

Make a selection area where a small hole is to be placed.

Create a layer.

Select a paint bucket in the toolbox.

Fill area: pattern.

Select the small hole pattern just defined.

Mode: normal.

Opacity: 100%.

Click in the selection area to fill the pattern.

 

You can also add the layer style-slope and relief to the small hole to produce the concave effect.

 

Manufacturing of steel plates (Large Area)

Select the part to be raised.

Copy to the new layer (CTRL + J ).

Inner slope:; Method: smooth;
Depth: 100%;
Direction: up;
Size: 3; softening: 0;
Angle: 129; Height: 58;
Glossy contour lines: linear.
