Successfully upgraded the iPhone firmware to version 2.1.

The upgrade process is still quite troublesome. I spent a long time yesterday, and it is better to stay at 1.1.4 unless necessary.

 

Upgrade procedure:

1. Back up system data and upgrade iTunes to version 8.0.
2. Click SHIFT + restore in iTunes to flash to version 2.02.
3. Crack quickpwn GUI 120 (there are many steps, but there is a Chinese interface)
4. Use willxz's self-made firmware SHIFT + recovery to flash the machine to 2.1
5. Use iTunes to restore backup data after automatic restart. The phone book, SMS, memo, and system settings will not be lost.
6. Install Version 2.1 IPA cracking patch and create a document directory.
7. Install and connect the iPhone PC suite2.0.0.73 and install the daemonProgramAnd then use normally.
8. There is no icon after installing the app sp. delete/private/var/mobile/library/caches/COM. apple. mobile. installation. after plist, the restart app icon appears.

 

Benefits:

1. A lot of good games, such as racing cars and football produced by gameloft, are good, and many games are exquisite.

2. The call volume is increased, which is a problem

3. Mail supports Chinese characters.

4. built-in Chinese handwriting recognition, which is more sensitive than the previous hwpen and can be associated with phrases after handwriting

5. It is said that the Internet access speed has improved, and I have not experienced it clearly.

 

Disadvantages of upgrade:

1. It is troublesome to add an app. Each time you delete a file or run an app named cachedel (it is not valid for me ).

2. More games, of course, consume more power. In the future, you will have to charge each day.

3. Many apps do not support 2.1 yet. For example, you can only switch to textreader to view pandareader of an e-book. I have not installed the offline map and dictionary applications.
