In the previous section we monitored the Windows services related to SharePoint, which also included the Cluster service.
But for cluster monitoring, just monitoring the cluster's services is incomplete, and this section looks at how the cluster can be monitored comprehensively.

Because only two databases on the SharePoint backend are installed with the Cluster service, only the two servers are monitored.
1. Import the Management Pack
In Scom, a dedicated Management Pack is provided for the Cluster service, and we first import the cluster Management Pack
Select Import Management Pack

Or add from a directory

Based on my side of the OS, the corresponding Windows Server R2 Cluster Management Pack was selected
650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image005 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image005" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02/6F/29/wKioL1WTlwLzXl48AAGxUKvJKV8571.jpg" height= "493"/>
Automatically resolve dependencies
650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image007 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image007" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/6F/29/wKioL1WTlwiyEDCwAAGCtUmR-Ws896.jpg" height= "/>"
Resolve dependencies again, and from the process of resolving dependencies, you can also understand the relationships of each Management Pack.
650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image009 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image009" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M01/6F/29/wKioL1WTlwvDnRmaAAFZJqPAggY590.jpg" height= "470"/>
After you confirm the Management Pack, click Install
650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image011 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image011" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02/6F/29/wKioL1WTlxDQANnIAAFOpYlvnuE049.jpg" height= "470"/>
Last successful Import

2. Enable agents
Because we cannot install the agent directly on the cluster, you need to enable the agent on each node of the cluster to perform agentless monitoring of the cluster.
In the admin area, click on Agent Management, select the 2 nodes of our cluster
650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image015 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image015" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M01/6F/2C/wKiom1WTlVTD-khyAAFGOpanbF8658.jpg" height= "291"/>
In the Security tab of the property, tick allow this agent to act as a proxy and discover managed objects on other computers
650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image017 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image017" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02/6F/29/wKioL1WTlxzgFWctAAEMlg-0bJk083.jpg" height= "553"/>
Wait a few moments, and you'll have 3 cluster roles in agentless management: Cluster, MSDTC, and SQL
650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image019 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image019" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02/6F/2C/wKiom1WTlVyQpSAPAACqhFqk6pw035.jpg" height= "172"/>
You can also confirm the status of 3 roles by going to a Windows computer in the monitoring area
650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image021 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image021" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/6F/2C/wKiom1WTlV6zepIHAABsaMqVMRY515.jpg" height= "/>"
As we can see, the cluster status is displayed as not monitored because the cluster Management Pack does not contain a monitor specifically for cluster objects. This does not matter, the agent on the active cluster node performs all monitoring. If this node fails, the agent on the cluster node to which the cluster fails over will start monitoring, but the agent on the failover node will have no knowledge of what was previously monitored by agents on other nodes (such as alerts, state changes, and so on) because the proxy is independent.
3. Cluster monitoring
In the monitoring area, we find that a new folder appears: Mincrosoft Windows Cluster
In the cluster Service state key, we can view the status of 2 cluster nodes
650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image023 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image023" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M01/6F/2C/wKiom1WTlWDA-vwaAACZpk4g5F8183.jpg" height= "/>"
In Windows Server R2 Cluster Resource Group State, you can also view the status of the cluster role.
650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image025 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image025" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/6F/29/wKioL1WTlyezK1-nAACt83mIyOo422.jpg" height= "166"/>
4. Cluster Alarm test
Next we test the alarm.
Enter a node to stop Cluster service
650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image027 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image027" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/6F/2C/wKiom1WTlWaCqJ91AACgjr-bKew085.jpg" height= "369"/>
Soon, the mail will receive an alarm notification
650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image029 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none; border-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;margin:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt = "clip_image029" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M01/6F/2C/wKiom1WTlWnzfDFMAADoGwlQ4YI732.jpg" height= "/>"
In the cluster, expand the diagram to show the status of each part and the area of failure at a glance.
