Failure phenomena:
When you open your SkyDrive network hard drive, you cannot access the file and tell you that you need to sign in with your Microsoft account, as shown in the following illustration:
Solution:
After you have installed or upgraded Windows 8.1 and logged on using a local account. If you need to use SkyDrive to store files, you'll need to sign in with a Microsoft account, and this article will work how to change to a Microsoft account and sign in to SkyDrive.
The test hardware for this document is the Lenovo IdeaPad Y400 notebook, with hardware configured for Intel I5 3210M, 4G memory, and 1TB hard drives. All of the following operating screens and test time are derived for this hardware platform and are for informational purposes only.
Operation Steps:
1. Open SkyDrive in the UI (start) interface;
2. After opening the prompt below, we select "Go to" Computer settings ";
3. After selecting, we will jump to "account", we select "Connect to Microsoft account";
4. Wait a moment to prompt you to enter your Microsoft user name and password, and then select Next after completing (if you do not have the option to "Create a new account");
5. Please wait a moment, the waiting time depends on the network environment in your region;
6. Now we will jump out of the image below, we choose "Next";
7. When prompted to switch accounts, we click "Switch", please note that after switching to a Microsoft account, you need to enter your Microsoft account password next time to log on to the computer, please remember the password.

8. Prove that the Microsoft account has been successfully signed in as shown in the figure below.
9. Reopen SkyDrive and we can see
