Baidu alliance is not a competitor of Taobao Alliance

Despite this, not all agree with the development model of this small website alliance. Recently, another Internet webmaster alliance in China, the Baidu alliance, publicly resisted the Taobao alliance. Baidu believes that the search engine tutorial rules damaged by Taobao's website, such as too many Page duplication and slow connection speed, exist in Taobao's website data dominated by APIs, which affects user experience.

Taobao denies this. According to Wang Wei, the presentation of Taobao's customer api is not only an advertisement, but users can customize various applications suitable for their own models through the open platform. Taobao's website data is not a single duplicate content.

This event may become a fuse for the communication between the Taobao Alliance and the Baidu alliance. Wang Weiyi believes that the Baidu alliance is not a direct competitor of the Taobao alliance, because the two are not products at a level.

"Taobao alliance is different from Baidu, Google, and other first-generation advertising alliances that are widely used in traffic and hard-spread, Baidu alliance is more concerned with traffic, so its form is often in the form of a single advertising promotion; taobao considers the promotion form.
