Automatic numbering for Word automatically adds a number to the new paragraph each time it is changed, and automatically changes the number automatically, even if you add a paragraph deletion. But since we do not sometimes need word as a sentimental courtesy, how can we cancel it?
One, the key to cancel
(1) The simplest, is in the line after the daily use of the backspace key to delete, but only to achieve a temporary effect, the following paragraphs do not need to be repeatedly deleted?
(2) Temporarily, cancel the automatic numbering bar, you can press the "Shift+enter" key when changing lines, Word will not automatically number, and so you need the next paragraph number, enter, Word will be in accordance with the original numbering sequence, continue to automatically number.
(3) Completely cancel it, because for beginners, sometimes annoying, you can completely cancel the automatic numbering, and when necessary manually input. Then just press the ENTER key two times, you can completely cancel Word's automatic numbering. Of course, if we start numbering again, Word will start numbering again from 1.
(4) In addition, may try the regret medicine, when Word automatically adds a number to it, press the Ctrl+z key, the automatic number disappears, and when you type the number again, the feature is disabled.
Ii. Cancellation of tools
To cancel it once and for all, select the tools → AutoCorrect Options menu command, in the AutoCorrect dialog box that opens, click the AutoFormat As You Type tab, uncheck the AutoNumber list check box under automatically apply when you type item (Figure 1), and then click OK button is complete.
