Tencent Ma Huateng China won the world's most respected CEO

Report from our correspondent (Reporter Luo lingchi) yesterday published the famous American financial magazine Barron Weekly (Barron's) selected in 2008 "the world's most respected 30 CEOs" list. Among the CEOs listed here, American business leaders hold 20 seats. Among the 10 CEOs outside the United States, Ma Huateng, CEO of Tencent, became the only Internet leader CEO in Asia and the only one on the list in China. Tencent has become the most profitable Internet enterprise in China.

Balun weekly has selected 30 most respected CEOs every year since 2005. This list has always been hailed as a barometer of the annual performance of the world's top companies and their leaders.

Tencent told Ma Huateng yesterday that although the global economic environment is unclear, as China surpassed the United States to become the world's largest country with Internet users, the number of Internet users has reached nearly 0.3 billion, tencent and other Chinese Internet service providers will become the biggest beneficiaries. In addition, entertainment products and member services based on small user consumption have relatively strong resistance.
