The effect of PS liquefaction tools on cartoon characters

In this article we will show you how to use the simplest way to turn a normal picture into a real comic. For this purpose we will use Photoshop's big kill device liquefaction tool! Liquefaction tools are often used to correct parts of the body (such as making Madou more bony), add pseudo depth to create 3D effects, and, of course, you can use it to make your own comics with imaginary wings.

First step

Open the picture you want to distort (the pictures available in the tutorials). The shaded section is the area to be noted.

Turn on the filter-liquefaction, use the expansion tool (try it with the brush size).

Finally, make some adjustments with the forward deformation tool.

Note: If you are using your own photos, be especially careful not to distort the background of the picture.

Sixth step

Copy the layer, and select the original artwork. Go Color (ctrl+shift+u/image > Adjustment > Hue and Saturation: saturation-100). Select the duplicate layer and change the blending mode to multiply.

Seventh Step

Create a new layer and select the Gradient tool (G). Select the radial gradient (the color transitions to transparency) and select #7bb5de as your foreground color. As shown in the following figure, pull a gradient, select the blending mode as the color deepens, and the fill to 40%.

Eighth step

Merge all layers, select Filter > Sharpen > Smart Sharpen. Try to adjust with the parameters you think are appropriate. (The number of parameters I use for this tutorial is: 56%, Radius: 1px, remove: Gaussian blur).
