Effect Chart ~
I went to Google to find a calf and a piece of cloth ~
Open the calf leather ~
And put the denim in.
Enter a font for "founder Åöí·" fonts, size of 230 or so, a little bit insignificant ~
To make denim this effect, we need to enlarge the scope of this font, I do not like to use the selection extension. Seems to be a bit distorted, I also can not say, just do not like, I use another way---layer blending mode in the "external glow" is really good! Some people would say why not "strokes"? Strokes will produce hard edges and corners, not easy to use ~
Double-click the text layer to open the layer mix, according to the diagram operation does not elaborate, you should pay attention to do not let the outside light-emitting range beyond denim ~
Now the edge of the word is still a bit empty, go to the channel, hide the denim, back to the channel, copy any color channel, open the level of color to adjust the value of their own grasp, so we will get a smooth edge of the outer contour, reversed phase, CTRL + Left to the selection after the layer bar ~
Create a new layer underneath the denim, fill in any color ~
Click on the denim layer, perform "layer-create clipping mask", or "ctrl+alt+g", or press ALT to move the mouse pointer between the denim layer and the fill layer, and click the left button when an icon points to the arrow icon.
Now let's continue to add the effect to this denim cloth. Double-click the Fill layer to open layer blending mode.
1. Bevel and Emboss
2. Outer glow, this I was trying to simulate the depression effect of the effect of the pressure on the denim sewing on calf leather.
Denim is a thickness of things, of course, there will be shadows ~ do not give too much, a little bit on the line ~
Continue to give effect, now is the sunken effect of the suture, CTRL + The left mouse button click on the fill layer to get the selection box, "Select-Modify-shrink." Shrink 16 pixels Inward ~ (although the expansion is not good, the contraction is still very strong)
Back to the path interface, click the "Generate Work path from Selection" button below. We get a path.
Back to layer, create a new layer on top of denim, choose a black brush with a size of 3 pixels and a hardness of 0.
Press p to select the Pen tool and right-click the mouse button to select stroke Path ~
Double-click the stroke layer into layer blending mode and add bevel and emboss effects. I circled the place to remind you to notice the change of light ~ ~
Create a new 20x100 document and draw a brush with an elliptical tool. I'm going to use this to simulate sutures. Edit-Define brush preset, remember the name of the save time, it is easy to find.
Click the work path in the path bar, go back to the layer, create a new layer above the sunken layer, then preset the brush, press B, click on the Brush preset button, and find this button in several places.
Find the brush, change the angle, size and spacing ~
Shape dynamics It's important here too ~ notice where I circled ~
After the preset, select a light-colored foreground color, press p, right-click the mouse button to choose "Stroke path"
Now this stitch doesn't look real, I add a little effect to them, first of all, "bevel and Emboss."
Then there is the shadow, and anything that can be seen has a shadow.
Temporarily I decided to give him a little color to see see, now looks more acceptable, at least not as flat as before, no texture ~
Go on ~ I'm going to start the simulation denim with scissors cut open the edge of the fiber, and then create a new document to make a brush, if you just the document is still in the painting directly, with a pixel brush crooked draw a line. Edit-Define brush preset.
It also has a preset operation.
Shape Dynamic ~
Spread
Click on the left mouse button work path to get the path back to the layer, on the fill layer press p, right-click the button to select the stroke path.
Cowboy cloth to come to an ending, the following began to do cowhide text. Point Open the text layer, just now I to his hands and feet, now must be restored to come
Point open denim, clear layer style!
The bottom of the cowhide copy a layer, pull to the text layer above ~alt+ctrl+g "Create layer Mask" ~
Add "bevel and Emboss" ~
Continue to add shadows ~
Cowhide is a shiny material, so there should be a high light place. I use the inner shadow to simulate the high light ~
CTRL + the left mouse button click on the text layer to get the selection, shrink 14 pixels. Direct stroke, I give up working path, I want to speed up ~
Gaussian Blur 3.0, add "bevel and Emboss" ~
Change the copied stroke layer padding to a lower size.
Turn the selection into a path and create a new layer of stitching on the sunken layer.
Some of the methods mentioned earlier, I will not be a detail behind
Find the stitching brush you just used, and if you're storing it, you don't have to set it from scratch.
Press p, select a light foreground color, right mouse to choose "Stroke path" ~
Add Bevel and Emboss
Shadow ~
