Last week, I went to see a film and saw many posters in the cinema. In the poster, the effect of metal text is widely used. Let the poster add heavy and impact. With that in mind, I decided to teach the method of making metal words
To communicate with you to learn, this tutorial is not very complicated, through a step-by-step to do, 30 minutes can get you the metal effect you need.
First look at the final effect:
1. Open Photoshop and create a new document. Sets the size to 2560x1440 pixels. Fills the background layer with a gray #464646.
2. Search the web for some metal-textured picture footage and drag it to a new file. If the material can not block the entire background may be copied multiple times, stitching covered the entire document.
Use the brush tool to erase the traces of the stitching.
3. Add a new layer and select red and yellow as background and foreground colors. Select Filter > Render > Cloud.
4. Select blending mode to overlay, add layer mask, select Layer > Layer Mask > Show all. Set the background and foreground to black and white, click the layer mask added in the layer, select Filter > Render > Cloud.
