Once the system has identified the drive number of the flash drive, we need to set the focus on the DiskPart environment on the disk. In the example in this article, the USB flash drive is disk 5, so we use the command to select Disk 5.

Next, you create an underlying partition on the disk using the Create Partition Primary command. After the partition is created, we see the successful creation message sent by the system, and the focus is automatically transferred to the newly created partition. Marking a partition as active helps to enable the BIOS to recognize that the partition belongs to a valid bootable system partition.

After you create the partition and mark the partition as active, you can prepare to quickly format the disk and install the FAT32 file system with the Format Fs=fat32 shortcut command. Once the driver is formatted, you can use the Assign command to assign a drive name to the drive.

USB flash drive is ready. Now we can exit the DiskPart environment using the Exit command, and then close the Command Prompt window.

Copying Windows 7 files

Copying Windows 7 files is a very easy thing to do. Just open Windows Explorer, open the Windows 7 DVD, select all the files and folders, and then drag all the files and folders to the USB flash drive. Remember that copying will take some time.
