This book is a masterpiece of enterprise management. After several years of purchase, I have finally finished reading it.
The fifth practice mentioned in the title refers to systematic thinking, that is, to examine the law of enterprises, organizations, society, and even the earth as a whole. One way to think about the system is to have in-depth discussions (I feel similar to brainstorming). One of the results is to change the mental model, change the existing views on things in my mind, and try to accept new ideas as much as possible. The mental model in the book sometimes seems to be a way of thinking about problems, or an existing view.
In general, writing is good and worth a look. However, I feel that this book has already fallen into the "hammer and nail model" that is often said in software development: I have a hammer in my hand and I think everything is a nail. The book seems to be the only way to improve the level of enterprise management by systematically thinking about changing the mental model.
