In PowerPoint 2003, there is no trusted location. You can create a location exemption to override Registry Policy settings. To create a release location, follow these steps:
1. Exit PowerPoint 2003.
2. Click Start, click Run, type Regedit in the open box, and click OK ".
3. locate one of the following registry subkeys, and click to select them:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Office \ 11.0 \ common
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Policies \ Microsoft \ Office \ 11.0 \ common
4. Point to "new" on the "edit" menu, and click "item ".
5. Type oiceexemptions for the item name.
6. Point to "new" on the "edit" menu, and click "string value ".
7. Type A string name and press Enter. For example, type oiceexemptions.
8. Right-click the string name typed in Step 7 and click Modify ".
9. In the "value data" box, type the path of the directory containing the corresponding file, and click "OK ". (The meaning of this step 2 is to enter any path of the file you want to store the pptfile, such as c: \ My Documents ENTs. the above operations are only valid for files stored in this path, if the pptfile is stored in another path, it cannot be opened. For any other folders to be exempted, repeat steps 6-9 .)
