First install Ubuntu 7.04 from hard disk
First download
Ubuntu-7.04-alternate-i386.iso
Initrd.gz
Vmlinuz
Each file needs to be started to grub corresponding to the corresponding version (grub is installed after the red flag is installed). Press C because I put the above three files on the edisk of Windows XP, in grub, it is expressed as (hd0, 5)
Grub> kernel (hd0, 5)/vmlinuz root =/dev/Ram ramdisk_size = 256000 devfs = mount, Dall
Grub> initrd (hd0, 5)/initrd.gz
Grbu> boot
Now, the installation is started. It is the same as the general boot from the off-disk ~~ I just called the configuration keyboard at the beginning. I chose the configuration, so that I could not log on after I entered the password and installed it. I just needed to select where to configure the keyboard and continue or drop it ~~
The first time ubuntu was installed from the hard disk and the first time Linux was installed from the hard disk, it was still quite smooth ~~
