A brief analysis: First we add a fuzzy background, then add a snail, and the grass material to the snail's shell into the appearance of grass, and then add characters, grass, butterflies, grass, and adjust the layer, mask and brush to make them fused.
Final effect
1. In Photoshop, use the parameters of the following diagram to create a new document.
2, open the background picture. We need to fix the plants on the rocks, so I created a new layer and selected the Stamp tool. Use this tool to erase the plants.
Use the shortcut key CTRL + ALT + Shift + E to stamp the visible layer, merging the background layer and the layer you just processed into a new layer. Use the Move tool to drag the merged layer onto our canvas.
3, I use a tuning layer, through the clipping mask to the background color processing. Layers > New Adjust layer > color balance.
4, I use the curve adjustment layer to darken the background.
5, add the picture of the snail to the file, and then use a layer mask to remove its white background.
6. Create a new layer below the snail layer, choose a black soft brush, adjust its transparency to 40%, and make a snail's shadow on the rock. Name this Shadow "Shadow1".
I want to add a light source to the top left of the snail, so the front of the snail will add the shadow part. First create a new layer below the SHADOWN1 layer. Then hold down CTRL and click the mask thumbnail of the snail layer, and we can get the snail's selection.
Fill this layer with black and turn it into a smart object, which is the shadow we do, but we have to flip it. Flip the layer vertically and then adjust the opacity to 60%.
Shadows need to be softened, Filters > Blur > Gaussian blur, and then the radius is tuned to 6px.
7, I use color balance to let the background and the color of the snail fusion.
8, then I use the curve to darken the color of the snail.
In this layer mask, wipe the background part of the snail with a black soft brush, leaving the snail's back and lower color dimmed.
9, create a new layer, press the picture below to set the parameters. Pattern is overlay, transparency 100%, choose to fill with 50% grayscale.
10, open the picture of the lawn. Use a rectangular tool to frame a lawn and place it on a snail's shell. Then use the Free transform tool to do a little fine-tuning.
Add a mask to the layer and use a black brush to erase the shape of the snail's shell. In order to make the grass on the edge of the natural some, I use a relatively hard brush to decorate, brush size about 3-4px.
11, I still use color balance to adjust the color of the grass, the parameters are set as follows.
12, I use the curve to make the color of the grass darkened.
In this graph layer mask, I use the black soft brush to wipe out the upper part of the lawn shell, make it brighter than the next part.
13, I created a new layer, it's parameter settings and the same as the 9th step. Use Dodge and burn tools to adjust the shading of the lawn shell.
14, the little girl from the background map out, put on the grass snail shell.
We're going to adjust the shape of the little girl's skirt so that she looks like it's spreading in an arc snail shell. Use Edit > Manipulate variants.
15. Add a mask to the little girl's layer, select a hard black brush, turn the size to about 2-3px, and use this brush to make the skirt edge and grassland more integrated.
16, I use hue/saturation adjustment layer to reduce the saturation of girls.
17, add color balance to the little girl's layer. Choose the black soft brush, wipe out the little girl's cheek part, eliminate some green influence, make her skin appear white some.
