the following background information about each of the preceding color modes:

    • RGB RGB is a color adding mode, that is, the more red, green, and blue colors are added, the closer the color is to white. If you mix the same red, green, and Blue values, you will always get a Neutral gray. To increase the color, reduce the three colors according to the same quantity. The computer's scanners and monitors are based on the RGB color mode, so it describes the natural color mode on the computer, especially when processing scanned images. Each channel (red, green, or blue) value ranges from 0 (uncolored) to 255 (fully saturated ). RGB colors are also known as "24-bit" or "yellow ".

    • HLS many people think that the HLS color mode is more intuitive because it is based on tone, brightness (or "brightness ") and saturation to define the color. To specify a color, you can select a color on the rainbow spectrum, select a saturation (color purity), and set the brightness (from Bright to dark ). Bright red is a high saturation and bright color. Soft colors like pink have low saturation. You can specify the color (0 to 360 degrees) in degrees, and specify the saturation and brightness using a percentage between 0 and 100%. The HLS color with zero saturation is neutral gray.

    • HSB the HSB color mode is very similar to the HLS mode, the difference is that the former uses the B (brightness) value of the color instead of the brightness value.

    • CMYK the content of each printer and printer is based on the following three main colors: blue-green, magenta, and yellow. These colors are called "fading" because the more they are added, the closer they are to black. Unfortunately, because the ink in the real world cannot be perfect, black (k) must be added to obtain a wider range of print colors. The CMYK mode is mainly used to create the image to be printed. Note that the same color can be defined by a combination of different blue-green, magenta, yellow, and black colors. Defining Neutral gray with CMYK is tricky (for example, adding more blue-green compared to other colors) and needs to be changed based on the output device.
