Problem description:
the administrator ID file is set to allow expiration, and no other ID file can be used to access the server. If you try to access the server with an expired administrator ID, you will encounter the following error:
"server error-your certificate has expired"
at this time, no other ID can access the server. What should you do?
answer:
use the following work und to authenticate expired IDs:
1. Open the domino management client (the server should be set to "local ").
2. Select the configuration tab.
3. Select tool> verify.
4. Select the validator cert. ID and enter the password
note that the following error occurs: "The public key in use does not match the verified key ".
this error is caused by the client being unable to connect to the Notes validator document in the server address book. To skip this error, please ask "do you want to continue but do not update the validators ID ?" Select "yes ".
5. Select to authenticate the Notes administrator ID. Please note that you will see an error: "The entry is not found. Do you want to continue authentication ?", Click "yes ".
6. Make sure that the server is still set as "local" (at the top of the dialog box), set the validity period, and then click authenticate.
7. At this time, as long as the server does not enable the public key check, you should be able to access the server. If the public key check is enabled on the server, you must complete Step 4 to access the server.
8. Copy the public key from ID to the user document (certificate tab> Notes-Certified Public Key domain ).
. file-> Security-> User security (the user ID is opened in this way)
B. select your identity-> your certificate
C. click "other operations", select mail, and copy the certificate (Public Key )...
D. select copy certificate (this operation places the public key on the system clipboard)
E. close the window and exit user security
F. select the personnel view in the Domino Directory of the server, open the user's personal document and enter the editing status, and click the certificate tab
G. select all content in the public key field of the Notes authentication, paste the key in the clipboard, save and close
H. press the combination key shift + F9 to refresh the view
