Paris, June 29 (Xinhua)-according to a survey published on the 29th by the French office of the internationally renowned accounting firm Ernst & Young, China became the most attractive international investment market in 2005.
About 52% of international investors surveyed pointed out that China is the best investment option. In 2004, only 37% of investors made this choice.
The United States ranked second in this year's survey and won 39% of investor support. India, Poland, Germany, and UK ranked third to sixth.
However, according to the survey, if China is used as a region, its investment attractiveness lags behind Western Europe and Central and Eastern Europe, but is ahead of the US-Canada region.
International investors said they chose Middle East Europe and China because of low labor costs and high production efficiency.
