Unable to start after closing, and then jump out of the dialog box
The Virtual Machine cocould not start. make sure vmware workstation is installed correctly and you have rights to run the software and to access all directories it uses, including directories in which the software is installed, directories containing the virtual
Disk and configuration files, and directories for temporary files
Solution:
1. Shut down the computer and restart it;
2. Restart the VM after it is started. The following dialog box is displayed.
Unable to open kernel device "\. \ VMCI": the system cannot find the specified file. Did you reboot after installing vmware workstation?

(1) solution 1:
Edit and modify the. vmx file corresponding to the virtual machine. Find this line: vmci0.present = "true", change "true" to "false", or delete this line directly. Save the. vmx file of this virtual machine.
Run the VM again.
(2) solution 2:
On the VM software interface, edit virtual machine settings. Choose Virtual Machine Settings> Options> client isolation> VM communication interface (VMCI) to remove the Enable VMCI hook. Click OK to save.
Run the VM again.
