Yesterday, I changed the Host Name of the PC. When I started the VM today, an error was reported:
Error:
SCSI reservation for Virtual Device "scsi1: 1" cannot be enabled because the disk "F:/Vm/racshare/OCR. vmdk "is being used by another virtual machine running on a different host machine. SCSI reservation under VMware Server is only available for machines running on the same host machine. module devicepoweron power on failed.
Goole, this is because of a file: OCR. vmdk. reslck. This file is a lock file when the shared disk is enabled. Because the host name was changed, the virtual machine thought the environment had changed. Therefore, if the previous lock file cannot match the current environment, the above error is reported.
Go to the F:/Vm/racshare directory and delete all the reslck files in the directory. Then, the VM starts properly.
