Congratulations!
I upgraded to IE7 one week ago. I have two computers, one in the office, win2003 ent SP1, and the other in the dormitory, WINXP pro SP2. After the XP Server is upgraded to IE7, both max2 and Max 1.5x can work normally. However, if IE7 is enabled separately, an error occurs and the iexplore. EXE is reported. 2003 that IE7 also has a similar problem (the error of "automatic recommended drop-down menu error"), but can use max2 normally, but with 1.5x will appear like http://forum.maxthon.com/index.php? The issues described in this post showtopic = 58792 & HL = IE7 also include:
After continuous experimentation and consultation on Foreign Forums, the solution is as follows:
1. IE7 crash:
Deselect the "web history records" in "search type" of "usage Preferences" in Google Desktop Search, save the usage preferences, and then enable IE7, no error occurs on both XP and 2003. (Note: the latest version of Google Desktop Search solves this problem. Even if you select "web history", no errors will occur.)
2. on win2003 SP1, Maxthon 1.5x cannot work normally with IE7:
at first, I reinstall Maxthon several times, but it is always overwritten, invalid (in the past, I used overwriting and installation for all the upgrades. I started using myie2. It is estimated that there are a lot of old files in it ). Later, I simply deleted the entire Maxthon directory and re-installed Maxthon (the latest 1.5.9 build30). The miracle was that Maxthon could work properly, but the reason was unknown. Later, I copied the config file in the sub-machine of XP Back to the sub-machine of 2003, and there was no problem. The problem was solved successfully.
