I am exhausted. I recently spent a long time testing and debugging, and modifying the compatibility. Although I cannot guarantee that there is no problem, I still feel like it is a problem. After all, I am doing this: I want to test and debug again, the energy is obviously insufficient. The new version has improved a lot compared with Flash Player 6 earlier:
- There seems to be no loss in performance; in practice, the efficiency of the new version is worse than that of Flash Player 6 earlier, and that of Flash Player 6 earlier supports dither color, dither color is removed in the new program-from the perspective of efficiency and code size, the image quality should be inferior to the previous version;
- The video part can be played. The video codec interface is added, and the video codec will be completed by hardware on the embedded platform;
- The program has good compatibility. at least part of the program supports Flash Player 8 (filter in Flash Player 8 is not supported), and codesize reduces a lot;
Further debugging is temporarily stopped, including the previously planned Linux will be skipped-I really don't think it is necessary. The pure software version will not be transplanted to the embedded platform for the time being, mainly because I don't have the energy, some Friends hoped that I could port this version to the platform or ask about my performance on the platform. The unified reply is as follows:
- I am not planning to perform performance tests on different embedded platforms for the moment because the previous versions have been transplanted, at least I already know the overall performance;
- There are several reasons for publishing the current development results:
- After all, this is a long time, and there will always be a result;
- In addition, I want to see how the market responds to this problem. Engineers tend to indulge in the pursuit of technical details when doing things. I do the same myself: Flash Player has invested a few years before and after, however, I have not yet figured out the market prospect of this item.
- Some are unwilling; because Flash has been used for some time, some companies have also evaluated some of the world's most famous flash solutions, I found that I could launch my self-developed hats with just a slight modification of the open-source software. I sold them openly. Some of them are not comfortable...
- Some may have misunderstood my ideas. The public results are not for advertising or money sales-maybe some friends say "too peat; I have been working in the software industry for 20 years. Now I often think, should I work according to my preferences, not just for money?So I stress again that this pure software version is not intended to be transplanted to other embedded platforms.--- I don't have so much energy to cope with this, it's not a matter of money; it doesn't matter if I am peat or don't get started. I just want to be happy myself.
- Hardware acceleration (embedded on the platform) will be the new focus, and hardware acceleration will be completed in two steps; the goal is: make full use of hardware resources and lower-cost hardware (I don't want to smoothly run the software version on a 1g clock speed system). Therefore,This is a closed post. I hope to get started with hardware acceleration design as soon as possible.The final hardware platform has been selected and is kept confidential for the time being (No 1g clock speed will be used to fool everyone, and the clock speed is quite low). Let's talk about it later;
Flash Player has been on for a long time and is indeed getting more and more tangled: Google has supported Adobe Flash Player 10 on the high-end platform, and more low-end users prefer to use cheap and free open-source code, at present, the motivation for actually supporting me to continue is my personal preferences. After all, I am an old man and expect to do what I want to do. I don't think too much about success or not, as for whether this item can bring me any economic benefits for the moment, I have my own job. Although our local salary is not comparable to that in Beijing and Shanghai, it is better that the consumption in the "poor mountains and bad waters" area is relatively cheap, so even though my salary is meager, I still don't need to think about buying a house like a young man (The House is expensive, we have 13 K in front of our house-we have to survive, the average local price is 6 K), buy a car, and unlike my colleagues, an age is still a luxury home (a few sets of people already exist, that is, investment) and luxury cars are working hard;
Therefore, I have always felt that I am not a successful person. I am more likely to give a bad example to young people, so I don't want to be a "cool man .... ", more are not seeking for progress," lazy "; maybe only college students in our age will be so boring-so never learn from me;
