As early as the late 1960s, he published a controversial monograph on "Designing for the true world." The book focuses on the most pressing issues facing the human needs of designers, emphasizing the social and ethical values of designers. In his view, the greatest role of design is not to create commercial value, nor packaging and style of competition, but an appropriate social change in the process of elements. He also stressed that the design should be seriously limited to the use of Earth resources, and to protect the Earth's environmental services. Not many people were able to understand his point of view. However, since the 70 's "energy crisis" broke out, his "limited resources theory" has been universally recognized. Green design has also been more and more people's attention and recognition.

One. The concept of green design

Green design is also known as eco-design (ecological), Environmental Design (designed for environment) and so on.
